About The Project
Create IT Web Designs contacted me to help design Wealth Planning Corporation’s homepage (desktop and mobile), services, and why us page. My aim was to design something that felt welcoming, calm, and approachable while still keeping the website professional and organized. The client was looking to refresh their previous website as they felt it was missing personality and was a bit too stuffy. To give the website a more human touch, we added more images that were aligned to their current client base, ones that felt more familiar. They wanted to appeal to new customers and their existing client base. They envisioned a design that would feel multigenerational and engaging to all ages. Photography was carefully chosen to be inclusive and target their wide demographic range. They also wanted the new site to match their existing branding. So we incorporated various shades of blue (a light and darker shade) from their brand color palette and a pops of bright green into the design. These colors help to provide a modern, calm yet trustworthy and informational feel to the website.
